A new type of malware is in circulation designed to evade detection by virus scanners. Cybercriminals are distributing the malware through seemingly harmless PDF files, which contain a malicious Word file. Virus scanners only recognize the files as ordinary PDFs, allowing the malware to be activated undetected on the device.
