Phishing attacks hit record high in third quarter, with malware not far behind

The figures, the highest ever recorded for a quarter, reveal Microsoft and Facebook were the most impersonated brands. Email remains the top vector for such attacks, with Bank of America witnessing an 873% increase in phishing URLs. To combat the rise, companies are recommended to adopt integrated security solutions.
