Cybersecurity working group proposed | Regional / World

Guam is experiencing increased cybersecurity threats, with state-sponsored threat actors reportedly focusing on the island. In response, a proposed measure aims to form the “Marianas Cyber Security Working Group” to tackle such issues. The group will be made up of government and industry representatives. The initiative comes after a Microsoft report highlighted that Guam is a frequent target for China-based groups aiming at the US defence industrial base.
