Fake Corsair job offers on LinkedIn push DarkGate malware

Cybersecurity firm WithSecure has identified a threat actor using fake LinkedIn posts about a job opportunity at Corsair to trick people into downloading malware. The cybercriminal group, believed to be from Vietnam, is using this approach to access Facebook business accounts for either malvertising or selling to other cybercriminals. The malware itself seeks to uninstall security products shortly after installation, an automated process designed to ensure its survival on compromised systems.
