A New Low-Cost Cybercrime Weapon Emerges

Cybersecurity researchers have found a new malware program, ExelaStealer, offered for sale on cybercrime forums and Telegram for as little as $20 a month. The info-stealer can obtain sensitive information like passwords, credit card and session data, and is distributed via an executable pretending to be a PDF. It is believed to have been developed for low-skilled hackers, filling a niche for cheap, off-the-shelf hacking tools.
