Changi General Hospital leverages AI to spot curable hypertension

Singapore’s Changi General Hospital has partnered with Shimadzu to identify and treat curable forms of hypertension more efficiently and effectively. The SC3 Centre utilises advanced analytics to test for primary aldosteronism and salt-sensitive hypertension. Previously, testing took weeks as it was carried out abroad, but SC3 has reduced this to three to five days. Since launching in February, this quicker testing has been used over 1,000 times.
