Cybersecurity and secure by design systems for a global digital shield

Cybersecurity skills gaps and growing cyber threats globally have driven Italian defense and security company, Leonardo, to create the Cyber & Security Academy. The company uses gamification and a proprietary Cyber Range platform to conduct training exercises. In its first year, the academy conducted Security Awareness courses for more than 17,000 participants. Additionally, Leonardo is involved in initiatives to outline cybersecurity technology priorities and governance methods, and designing the European Space Agency’s Cyber-Security Operations Centre.
