Hackers target US Facebook biz accounts with potent malware cocktail

A Vietnam-based cybercrime group is targeting Facebook business accounts, primarily digital marketing firms in the US, UK, and India. Using the DarkGate malware and malware as a service (MaaS) toolkits, the group is infecting victims with remote access trojans and info-stealing malware such as Ducktail, Lobshot, and Redline. The group steals credentials linked to ad accounts to conduct unauthorized advertising campaigns.
