Fake Corsair job offers on LinkedIn push DarkGate malware

Fake LinkedIn posts about a Facebook Ads job at Corsair are being used by cybercriminals to spread info-stealing malware like DarkGate and RedLine. Cybersecurity firm WithSecure linked the activity to Vietnamese groups behind the ‘Ducktail’ campaigns. The malware targets Facebook business accounts, predominantly of users in the US, UK and India, for illicit advertising or resale. LinkedIn users are advised to check the verified info of a new account before engaging in communication.
