Businesses improved cyber incident response times following Log4j, report finds

The response time to cyberattacks improved from 29 days to 19 days between 2021 and 2022 according to a study by Immersive Labs. The research, based on over 1.1 million cybersecurity simulations revealed that companies were mostly unprepared for post-incident recovery, largely prioritizing early stages of an attack. The faster response was largely driven by high-profile vulnerabilities like the Log4j crisis.
