Grant will enhance fighting attacks on utilities

The University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s (UALR) Emerging Threat Information Sharing and Analysis Center plans to bolster the battle against energy sector cyberattacks, funded by a $1m Department of Energy grant. The initiative will improve cybersecurity workforce capabilities and collaboration efforts across universities and other partners. The institution will also deepen connections with students and increase cybersecurity certifications. UALR and the Forge Institute will collaborate with Idaho’s National Laboratory.
