Devs urged to rotate secrets after CircleCI suffers security breach

Following a security breach at the DevOps platform CircleCI, developers are being advised to revoke any stored secrets and API tokens. CircleCI launched an investigation, which is currently ongoing. The software development platform has also urged its customers to implement “preventative measures” to maintain the integrity of their software development projects. These measures involve reviewing system logs back to December 21 for signs of compromise and replacing existing project API tokens with new credentials.
