NHS cyberattack targets two UK ambulance services

UK’s South Western Ambulance Service Foundation Trust and South Central Ambulance Service Trust have suffered a week-long cyberattack that left them unable to access electronic patient records. The breach was traced back to the systems of Swedish health-tech company Ortivus. Though the hackers are yet to be identified, Ortivus has confirmed no patients were directly affected and is working to restore the systems and recover any lost data.
