Government sets out strategy to protect NHS from cyber attacks
The UK government’s new cybersecurity strategy for the health and social care sectors aims to ensure cyber resilience by 2030. It plans to safeguard services and their users from cyber threats and bolster the protection of sensitive information. The strategy entails identifying vulnerable areas, utilising national resources and expertise to counter attacks, incorporating security into new technology, and minimising the impact of cyber incidents. A full implementation plan will be released in 2030.
