A new infostealer malware called “Stealc” has been making waves on the C2C market. The malware, similar to Vidar, Raccoon, Mars, and Redline, targets password managers and relies on social engineering for its distribution. Meanwhile, a patient at NHS Lothian in Scotland has been left in the dark after a data breach compromised the data of 90 patients. Separately, Liverpool’s NHS trust disclosed that the data of 14,000 employees was unintentionally leaked when a file containing payroll information was mistakenly emailed.
