Birmingham and District use virtual waiting room to maintain patient safety

When a cyber attack hit Adastra, an IT platform used by most UK out-of-hours and urgent care providers, the Birmingham and District GP Emergency Room expanded its pilot of Ummanu’s Virtual Waiting Room to maintain patient safety. The platform prioritises patients needing remote consultations and reduces downtime, which was particularly beneficial during the Covid pandemic.
