Healthcare Supply Chain Attacks Raise Cyber Security Alarm

Cyberattacks on the healthcare sector are increasingly targeting smaller companies and the electronic medical records (EMR) systems of hospitals or healthcare groups, with 324 such attacks being reported in the first half of 2022. The total number of such breaches fell by 6% compared to the same period in 2021, but experts predict that the annual total will still be higher than pre-pandemic figures.
