NHS cyber-attack: More ransomware cases ‘likely on Monday’

The UK National Cyber Security Centre has issued a warning that following Friday’s global ransomware attack, more victims, possibly on a significant scale, may emerge on Monday and has urged businesses to ensure their IT infrastructure is secure. The attack affected the National Health Service in the UK along with FedEx and Spain’s largest telco and rapidly spread to 150 countries. It has been estimated that at least 200,000 victims, organisations and individuals, were affected by Friday’s attack.
