Banking Malware, a Stealer, and New Ransomware Strain: Kaspersky’s Crimeware Report
Kaspersky’s latest crimeware report warns about three threats that can steal data and funds. These include the GoPIX stealer, which targets Brazil’s PIX payment system; Lumar multipurpose stealer, capable of capturing Telegram sessions and data from cryptographic wallets; and Rhysida ransomware, notable for its self-deletion mechanism. Kaspersky recommends offline data backups, installation of ransomware protection, and carrying out cybersecurity audits to mitigate these threats.
