Deutsche Bank confirms provider breach exposed customer data

Deutsche Bank has confirmed that some customer data could have been exposed due to a data breach, possibly related to a MOVEit attack, at one of its external service providers. The breach could be impacting customers who used its account switching service between 2016 and 2020. The bank has assured to notify affected customers and refund any unauthorized direct debits within 13 months.
