Cyber Safety Review Board to probe Lapsus$ ransomware spree

The Cyber Safety Review Board (CSRB) will examine the Lapsus$ ransomware gang, a group linked to a series of high-profile attacks on global companies like T-Mobile, Nvidia, Uber, and government agencies since late 2021. The CSRB’s investigation will determine how to build resilience against the gang’s social engineering tactics. Some members of the extortion gang have been arrested, but other affiliates are believed to be at large.
