The 5 Pillars of IT Security (according to the NHS)

The UK government has unveiled a five-pillar plan to increase cybersecurity across the National Health Service (NHS) by 2030. These comprise prioritising patient care, improved collaboration across regional bodies, more cybersecurity training, built-in cybersecurity for new IT projects, and improved incident responses. The strategy is designed to protect the personal data of nearly 60 million patients currently held by the NHS. The strategy’s full implementation is set to be rolled out this summer.
