Trojan Android Apps with Malware Reach Two Million Installs

Over two million installations of Trojan Android apps have been found, according to cybersecurity firm Doctor Web. The most notable is a game called ‘Super Skibydi Killer’, with over a million installs. On installation, the app disguises itself and runs secretly, constantly launching ads. Other games such as ‘Agent Shooter’, ‘Rainbow Stretch’, and ‘Rubber Punch 3D’ are also implicated, while fake financial apps have been identified that lead users to fraudulent websites. All offending apps have been removed from Google Play.
