New Hunters International ransomware possible rebrand of Hive

A new ransomware-as-a-service brand named Hunters International appears to be using code from former ransomware gang, Hive. Security analysts found there was over 60% overlap in the code used by both gangs. Hunters International denied the claims, stating it had purchased the encryptor source code from Hive’s developers. Currently, the group seems to be focusing on stealing and leaking data for ransom rather than file encryption.
