Attorney General Todd Rokita warns Hoosiers of the risk of being double crossed by double ransomware

With cyberattacks on the rise, Attorney General Todd Rokita is warning individuals, schools, and businesses to be aware of hackers and protect themselves against “double ransomware attacks”. As part of Cybersecurity Awareness Month, Rokita’s office and the FBI are recommending regular system backups, data encryption, ensuring third-party cybersecurity strategies, and the use of trusted anti-malware software. Any ransomware hacking attempts should be reported immediately.
