CrowdStrike Uncovers New Cyberthreats To Israeli Sectors

“Imperial Kitten”, a cyber group with potential links to Iran, is using social engineering techniques and custom malware to target Israeli organisations in the transport, logistics and tech sectors, according to CrowdStrike’s Counter Adversary Operations. Active since 2017, its tactics involve luring targets to compromised websites that appear legitimate and using malware for command and control operations.
