ChatGPT-Powered Malware Attacking Cloud Platforms
ChatGPT, an AI system developed by OpenAI, can potentially be exploited by threat actors to generate convincing phishing emails, deceptive content, or obfuscate malicious code. Cybersecurity researchers at SentinelLabs have identified ChatGPT-powered malware, dubbed “Predator AI”, actively attacking cloud platforms to steal login credentials. Predator AI targets various cloud platforms and can recognize over 100 web and cloud hacking cases. Despite its potential, it remains unadvertised, potentially unstable, and costly.
