Microsoft has discovered that North Korean hacker group BlueNoroff, part of the Lazarus Group, is impersonating skills assessment portals to steal sensitive data and distribute malware. The group traditionally uses fake job ads, particularly targeting cryptocurrency professionals. Recently, they have been linked to a new MacOS malware called ObjCShellz. The experts suggest the group’s motives likely include stealing cryptocurrencies to fund the North Korean government and its nuclear weapons program.
