Hackers have attacked the Uganda Securities Exchange (USE) website, altering search results and inserting spam content. While users still can view the desired material, search engines index different content, leading to a potential drop in search engine rankings. Despite the issue’s apparent longevity, a recent scan of the USE site showed no problems, raising concerns about the exchange’s data protection capabilities.
