BlueNoroff hackers plan new crypto-theft attacks

Microsoft has warned of impending attacks by North Korean hacking group, BlueNoroff, known for its cryptocurrency theft via social engineering on platforms such as LinkedIn. The group, also known as Sapphire Sleet, is setting up new attack infrastructure using websites camouflaged as skills assessment portals. The hacker’s shift in tactics comes after their malicious files were quickly detected and removed from legitimate online services.
