Keeper Security has warned retailers of potential cyber threats during the holiday shopping season, a time where heightened customer traffic presents increased opportunities for cyberattacks. The cybersecurity company cited phishing attacks, ransomware and malware as some potential threats. It advised retailers to ensure employees are trained in cybersecurity, regularly update all systems and software, use trusted tools for payment processing, and maintain strong, unique passwords along with multi-factor authentication.
