Atomic Stealer malware strikes macOS via fake browser updates

The ClearFake fake browser update campaign is now targeting macOS, delivering Atomic Stealer malware to Apple computers. The operation leverages Binance Smart Chain contracts to hide its scripts and distribute the malware. It targets vulnerable browsers, prompting users to install fake updates. The Atomic Stealer tries to steal passwords, credit card details, and other sensitive data. About 50% of antivirus engines on VirusTotal are incapable of detecting this payload.
