SysJoker Malware: Hamas-Related Threat Expands With Rust Variant

The SysJoker malware, linked to Hamas-affiliated threats, has been updated significantly with a shift to the Rust programming language for a complete code rewrite maintaining similar functions. According to Check Point Research, it now uses OneDrive instead of Google Drive, offering greater flexibility in changing command-and-control (C2) server URLs. New SysJoker variants have also revealed links to the Operation Electric Powder attacks against Israeli organisations.
