Exposure management company Tenable discovered that 72% of firms remained exposed to the Log4Shell vulnerability as of October 2022, based on data from over 500 million tests. Full remediation was challenging due to the pervasiveness of the security flaw. Despite 28% of global organizations accomplishing this feat, recurring instances of the vulnerability were found in 29% of these cases, indicating the need for continual assessment and remediation.
