Mace: Protecting Government IT Systems is Critical to Federal Software Supply Chain

Chairwoman Nancy Mace raised concerns about cyber vulnerabilities in federal software supply chains at a Subcommittee on Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Government Innovation hearing. Noting the broad use of IT systems in government delivery, she warned of hostile actors exploiting this dependence. Mace emphasized the importance of securing these systems without unduly limiting software providers and products.
