Government NHS Cyber Security Strategy

The UK Government has unveiled a 5-part cyber strategy to protect health and adult social care functions and services, and to build cyber resilience in the NHS by 2030. The strategy focuses on identifying the most vulnerable service areas, uniting the sector, developing the workforce and leadership, integrating security into emerging technology, and assisting organizations in managing and recovering from cyber incidents. The strategy is a response to a history of cyber attacks on the NHS and its suppliers, and an implementation plan is expected by summer 2023.
