DVIDS – News – NIWC Atlantic Team Trains Reserve Sailors in Defensive Cyber Operations

The Naval Information Warfare Center (NIWC) recently held a cybersecurity exercise, training over 50 Navy Reservist Sailors in defensive cyber operations. Participants from the Naval Information Warfare Systems Command Cybersecurity Pillar joined the four-day course, GIBSON CASTLE 23, simulating operational and tactical strategies for real-world cybersecurity breaches. The program also offered training in defensive cyber operations and Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP) familiarisation.
