Russian national pleads guilty in Trickbot malware case

A Russian national has pleaded guilty for his role in creating and using the malicious software, Trickbot, for cyberattacks on US hospitals and businesses, according to the US Department of Justice. The software was enhanced in 2019 and used extensively during the pandemic. This follows the guilty plea from a Latvian national earlier this year for similar crimes involving Trickbot.
