Russian national pleads guilty to role in ransomware attacks

A Russian national has pleaded guilty to his role in developing and implementing the Trickbot malware tools, which were used for ransomware attacks on American hospitals and businesses. The FBI, Department of Justice and several international bodies involved in the investigation were praised for their joint efforts in bringing the cybercriminal to justice.
