NHS cyber-attack: GPs and hospitals hit by ransomware

Several NHS services across England and Scotland have been impacted by a large-scale, ransomware cyber attack. Although some hospitals and GPs have been unable to access patient data, there is currently no evidence to suggest that patient data has been compromised. Organisation, NHS Digital has confirmed that it believes the ransomware program is the variant, Wanna Decryptor.
