NHS cyber attack: What it looks like and what you need to know
A ransomware attack, believed to have exploited a weakness in Windows that had been exposed as a National Security Agency (NSA) technique, has targeted the entire National Health Service (NHS) in England. The ransomware attack, potentially initiated by the Shadow Brokers, which dumps stolen NSA tools online, started in England before spreading to as many as 11 other countries, impairing businesses, and causing hospitals into Scotland and Wales to also be hit.
