TEFCA is live and ready to exchange data, says HHS

The US Department of Health and Human Services has announced that five health information networks, eHealth Exchange, Epic Nexus, Health Gorilla, KONZA and MedAllies, can start exchanging data under the Trusted Exchange Framework and Common Agreement’s policies and technical requirements. The exchange system will give patients better access to their records, and healthcare organisations will have improved secure exchange of electronic health information.
