Windows and macOS targeted by new Go-based malware

AT&T Alien Labs has discovered a cross-platform malware named JaskaGO that can extract data and deploy malware on Windows and macOS systems. The malicious software can evade detection by running meaningless tasks if found in a virtual machine environment. The malware imitates CapCut and AnyConnect installers among others, can run shell commands, list ongoing processes, and can also monitor and alter clipboard content for cryptocurrency wallet addresses. So far, the method of delivery and number of affected devices remain unknown.
