Malware Attack on Texas Appraisal District Falls Short

Tarrant Appraisal District (TAD) computers were not breached and no taxpayer data was compromised, despite significant vulnerabilities being found in the systems according to an investigation by Apollo Information Systems. Two pieces of malware were found but failed to launch. A full report on the matter is expected to be published by year-end.
