Khonsari ransomware, Nemesis Kitten are exploiting Log4j vulnerability

State-sponsored groups and the Khonsari ransomware group are exploiting the Log4j vulnerability, targeting Windows systems. Bitdefender researcher, Martin Zugec, stated that although Khonsari is considered basic ransomware, advanced threat actors may also utilize the Log4j vulnerability to gain network access and plan large-scale attacks. Experts are urging system operators to patch the vulnerability to prevent unwanted, dormant threats in their networks.
