Nim-Based Malware Delivered via Weaponized Word Document

Cybersecurity researchers at Netskope have identified a new Nim-based malware which is delivered via weaponized Word documents. Attackers use this tactic to trick users into opening the files, leading to the execution of malicious code. The most notable variant of this new trend is the “Dark Power” ransomware. The malware is deployed as an email attachment by a fake Nepali official, and it imitates government domains to deceive users.
