The Slay the Spire mod Downfall was infected with the Epsilon malware over the holiday period, potentially exposing users’ sensitive information. The attackers accessed the mod’s Steam account by compromising one of the dev’s accounts. The breach lasted for about an hour before it was contained, but those who launched Downfall during that time may have been affected. The mod’s makers have purged all affected hardware and are working with users and Valve to handle the issue.
