Flaw in Black Basta Ransomware Exploited to Create Decryptor

Security Research Labs (SRLabs) has developed a decryptor that can help victims of the cybercrime group Black Basta recover their encrypted files. The firm has uploaded this tool and others to GitHub for free use by victims attacked between November 2022 and December 2023. However, their effectiveness is limited as Black Basta has already reportedly fixed the flaw in their encryption methods exploited by SRLabs.
