Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust dealing with aftermath of ‘cyber attack’

Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust has been hit by a cyber attack; the full extent is not yet known, but the breach was “contained”, according to Rich Pearson, the trust’s chief information officer. The National Cyber Security Centre is investigating and, meanwhile, people have been warned to stay vigilant of suspicious activity.
