Top 12 vulnerabilities that cybercriminals exploited last year

A recent advisory published by the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) revealed that cyber actors have exploited older software vulnerabilities more frequently in 2022, particularly unpatched, internet-facing systems. The top 12 routinely exploited vulnerabilities were identified in products ranging from Microsoft and Atlassian to VMWare. The CISA, along with other international cybersecurity agencies, have advised vendors and developers to take recommended mitigation steps to ensure product security.
